Bastrop Montessori

Bastrop Montessori offers authentic Montessori education for children aged 18 months through 10 years, and is adding grades annually through Middle School. The Montessori model is over 100 years old and is well regarded world-wide, proven to give children advantages in their adult lives, including critical thinking, self-motivation, self-reliance, collaboration, independence, and creativity. Our mixed age classrooms focus on personal independence, critical thinking, social-emotional development, grace and courtesy, communication skills, community awareness, arts, and civics as well as traditional academic subjects. Students enjoy an abundance of outdoor creative fee-play on our beautiful, 3.5 acre campus, including gardening and nature studies.
